The Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence is staging another town-wide event to build community and support our schools. The spring fundraiser - "Minute to Win It" - promises an evening of fast-paced party games and friendly competition, all in support of the 6,000 students who attend Montclair Public Schools.

Thank you to @screenawaremontclair and the @montclairptac for inviting me to create a chalk mural to celebrate the day! The idea was to take the logo and transform it into my own style of artwork... so I pulled out all of the colors and made a sunrise-sunset over the water 🌅
Had such a great time and loved having people join in with their own ideas and artwork 💗

Delaying smartphones and social media can be a difficult position to hold at times with your kids, so it helps to know others are delaying too. Share and spread the word!
The Wait Until 8th pledge empowers parents to rally together to delay giving children a smartphone until at least the end of 8th grade. Banding together helps decrease the pressure to have a phone at an early age.
Once you sign the pledge and more than 10 families in your grade have signed, you’ll receive the names of all the families in your kid’s grade at school who have also signed. Your signature might give another parent the confidence to delay, too, or the support to stick it out.
