Course 41/50 was at the fine Faldo Course at Amendoria GC in 🇵🇹
Playing the round from the yellow tees for my Scratch50Challenge, this was a tough test but I played some good golf in great company, shooting a 74 (2+). 3 birdies on the back 9 in a row clawed me back into it but we couldn’t quite get the level par or under round.

My group made the 15th hole at @hazelgrovegolfclub look much easier than it is, with 3/4 of us hitting the green @thegolfingmedic@chrisbei7 and the 4th @golf_savedmylife getting really unlucky and just sneaking into the water after a great swing…

Really great facility with so many high quality driving range bays. An amazing adventure golf facility all round, including the 9 hole Heritage course and a short academy course that also offers foot golf, this is a serious golf venue in Cheshire. Padel courts incoming too 🙌🏼

I was really pleased to try out the Forest Fruits electrolytes that the team have worked up. As well as the sleek branding, most importantly I genuinely felt a really good boost in my mental focus on the course after these, and they tasted really good with a good blend of flavour but not too sweet.
This year I’m trying to shave at least 2-3 shots a round to get down to shooting level par rounds or under in my challenge and in competitions, and these electrolytes could be that exact 1% gain I’m looking for.
