I’ve been obsessed with wood fired surfaces lately, so I tried to see how far I could push that look in a straight cone 10 reduction firing at MT. This cup is was the first interation. It surprised me in the best way! The movement, the flashing, the little carbon soot freckles AHHH It’s probably one of my favorites so far.

A few weeks ago I ran away to the mountains and accidentally had the best time of my life at @penlandschool . I got to learn from the most amazing instructor @kathykingart , make cool art, and meet the most amazing humans. My heart is so full and I feel incredibly lucky to have had this opportunity, especially with how heavy the world feels lately. I’m not taking a second of it for granted.
