The @bathnescouncil is looking for students to become members of the new Pride of Place Neighbourhood Board.
If you live in Twerton and Whiteway and are passionate about improving the local area through community-led projects, then this volunteer position is for you!
You do not need any qualifications or experience for this role, just to be passionate about Twerton and Whiteway, collaborative and take an inclusive approach to decision making, opening to learning and new development opportunities, and be able to attend one Board meeting every 6 weeks until April 2027.

The team managed to collect one bag of litter from Arlington Road, Brougham Hayes, Victoria Road and Terrace, Highland Terrace, Triangle North, Stanley Road West and Co-op car park!

Last week, Ghika (SCP Manager) met with Cllr Liz Hardman (centre) Chair of B&NES and the partner organisations from @everyonehealthbanes , BEMSCA (Bath Ethnic Minority Senior Citizens Association), @banes3sg , and ALCA (Avon Local Councils Association) to help decide the outcomes of this year's Community Awards.

Not only do bins cause an obstruction to pedestrians using the pavement, but the Council can also give you a fine!
Once your bins have been collected, or you get home in the evening pop your bins back in your garden ready to start storing your waste and recycling ♻️
