I came across these Stolpersteine or “stumbling stones” while walking around Vechta, Germany on Saturday. I had read about them but this was my first time coming face to face with one. Each one commemorates a victim of the Nazi regime outside their last known address. The inscription reads “Here lived” followed by their date of birth, and fate.
We had to say goodbye to our best friend Quincy last week. While there are no words to describe the sadness we feel, we take solace in the fact that for over 14 years he was loved by so many people. He was a sweet-tempered and affectionate dog who loved nothing more than to be by your side. Quincy gave our family so many memories that we will cherish always. We miss him dearly. ❤️
