Featuring: a foundational 12 day leadership programme and Canoe journey in Norway, a F2F follow-up weekend, and lifelong membership to an active alumni community.
Places cost from £650-£2,000 depending on employment status - with some bursaries available. (The closest thing on offer like this would cost around £6,000)

It was a pleasure to speak at the ‘Taste of Synergy’ event yesterday and thank you @lauraanjali for inviting me to give your guests an insight into why you’ve built the theme ‘connection’ into Synergy’s core.
In a world that pulls us in every direction, making space to meaningfully connect with others and our surroundings can be a conscious act. When we intentionally tune in, we experience each other differently, can listen deeply, and relate better. As one attendee said “it’s made me realise we miss so much opportunity in the workplace by not connecting better.”
I look forward to the @synergyretreatshow every year for this very reason, and always come away having had thoroughly nourishing conversations with the inspiring, purpose-led people that the show attracts - in turn refreshing my own connection to the work I love to do.

The Leadership for Good Academy is a subsidised non profit initiative and incorporates; a foundational leadership programme with a five day wilderness canoe journey in Norway, and lifelong membership to an active alumni community of people doing good things in society: for only £500 + travel.
Interestingly, only 25% of applicants so far are male. (I’ve heard similar statistics from other people running learning and development programmes for young adults).

🛶 12 years ago, I had the amazing opportunity to take part in a canoeing expedition through the landscapes of Southern Norway as part of an Ethical Leadership programme.
🌟 This experience went beyond just adventure — it was foundational to my journey into ethical leadership and purposeful work. It inspired my career focused on making a difference, which is now at the Office for National Statistics where I develop statistical capability across Africa.
🤝 It also gifted me lifelong friends, many of whom I still see regularly (shoutout to this amazing group in the photo!).
💡 Now, the incredible facilitators behind that programme — @scottyexplore and Richard Strudwick — have created a new version for a new generation: the Leadership for Good Academy.
⏳ Applications for their 2025 leadership programme are closing soon. If you're over 18, or know someone ready to take their first step into leadership with purpose, I cannot recommend this enough.
