In the private sector, time is the one luxury we don’t have. When you only have a 2-8 week window with an athlete, you can’t afford to spend the first month just “building a base.” You have to identify their specific needs on day 1. Athlete profiling and bucketing isn’t just a philosophy—it’s a necessity for me. While there’s always more nuance to the decision-making process, starting with these 3 buckets allows me to: ✅ Stop guessing and start prescribing. ✅ Maximize every minute of every session. ✅ Fast-track the transfer to the court. Efficiency is the difference between a good off-season and an elite one. #basketball #training #performance #forceplate

Basketball isn’t about who’s faster or who can jump higher. Basketball is a deceleration sport, meaning whoever can STOP & REACCELERATE faster wins. Most people get this wrong about a lot of sports actually. If your sports involves a stretch-shortening cycle then you need to be training your brakes. That means plyometrics alone are not enough, lifting by itself is not enough and most definitely ONLY playing your sport is not enough. Also, I forgot to add dynamic trunk stability (core) exercises are also very valuable in my training. #decleration #performance #basketball

Sports performance is advancing rapidly and becoming more widely accessible. With this growth, athletes, parents, and coaches now have more information than ever—yet the line between credible insights and misinformation is becoming more and more gray. Today, success in sports isn’t just about being the fastest or strongest. It’s about efficiency and the ability to perform at your highest possible level with every opportunity. Force plates give us the ability to dissect performance with precision, providing objective data that drives better decisions every day. Book your session today.

With only 14 days in the lab, every rep counts. We focused on the margins that separate good from elite. From emphasizing diverse movement patterns at high velocities to optimizing mobility through full range of motion; the work is in the details. Watching @theajstorr_ apply this intent has been special. The talent is real, but the preparation is what’s going to keep him at the top. #NBADraft2026

Building a “Future Star” is as much about the mind as it is the mechanics. Kamsi is a special talent on the court, but what sets him apart is his maturity. When I told him we needed to shut down basketball for 2 months to rehab his knee, he didn’t hesitate. He showed up to every session like a professional; obsessing over the details and constantly asking questions. We didn’t just “fix a knee.” We addressed a kinetic chain that was unraveling due to neurological inhibition and compensatory patterns at the hip and ankle. Most rehab protocols fail at the transition from structural integrity to elastic capacity. The common mistake is jumping into sport-specific drills before the joint can handle the forces experienced in sport. By prioritizing strength at length alongside targeted posterior & lower limb development early on, we effectively restored a complete system capable of handling more than ever before. Now, he isn’t just back. He’s rebuilt. #SportsPerformance #ReturnToPlay #BasketballTraining #InjuryRehab #KneeHealth

3 weeks into the off-season training and my guy @ianparhamjr already going crazy with a 38”…damn near 39” vertical. Crazy to think just a little under a year ago we were working on late stage ACL rehab. Thanks for trusting me with your rehab and performance training brother 💪🏼

There’s no such thing as peak basketball shape year round. Early off-season means training gets turned up ⬆️ and basketball gets turned ⬇️ but nothing ever gets turned off. The training doesn’t have to be perfect every day. Success rarely happens overnight but rather as a result of small consistent efforts repeated daily.

There’s much more nuance to return to play protocols but the most important concept to understand is that immediate loading is vital to performance. When an entire structure/complex of the body lacks the physical capability to accentuate force, compensations are bound to occur. #performance #rehabscience #rehab #anklesprain #anklerehab
