@tyrannusetimperium released their second album 'Mournhold' today! Produced, recorded and mixed by yours truly. I had loads of fun working on this last year and seeing the growth in songwriting and ambition from the first album was really exciting. Running guitars through synths, using all the wrong amps, triple tracking bass guitar and a having a whole bunch of fun while making it resulted in a super exciting and thrilling album and chuffed that everybody finally gets to hear it! I've released a new track! Keyboards were first instrument that I fell in love with but I hardly every actually play them now apart from occasionally as session stuff or small overdubs on recordings. I think what draws me most to keyboard instruments is the challenge to make them sound expressive and nuanced rather than just a sound effect. So naturally I've made a track where I tried to play the synth like I was a sequencer rather than just sequencing everything. It's on bandcamp and I made a simple visualiser on youtube. Not doing digital distro as sometimes it's nice to have some music released that has no purpose other than my enjoyment. Link in my bio and stories.
