Today we're showcasing the wonderful art piece we commissioned Fabian (@hgphbc) for Mournhold.My original message to Fabian said: "I'm looking for something that hits our motifs of our pink and black colour scheme, squids, space and medieval weaponry and ideally some grand building like a cathedral."As can be seen, Fabian absolutely stunned us with this, taking a lot of inspiration from what we have seen in black metal and warping it into the Tyrannus imagery. The castle, the tentacles and the landscape were fantastic imagery choices. And the cybernetic border framing? Exquisite.Our only edits from there were placing the Tyrannus logo and Mournhold title in place of the moon at the top right and a touch of colour grading.We cannot thank Fabian enough for his work and we heavily encourage others to check him out!#blackmetal #albumart #metalart #mournhold #hagiophobic

NON SERVIAM.Cryptic Dungeon lettering / Keller magick / crypto Calligraphy.This is a weird one on me, in several regards, but that’s a good thing!.Huge letterings / ornaments are not something I do every day, but I do enjoy doing a lot! Especially if it doesn’t have to be legible.Working with Color is definitely not something I do often, so added the background layer of blood red occult Sigilism was quite a cool thing to try out!.Thanks M., for realising this wild idea with me!Done in Berlin at @unterderhandberlin.Get in touch If you are interested in cryptic lettering or ornamentation, be it of the Keller sorcery or festering Death Metal variety!
