So great to see this incredible team get some much deserved recognition for this show. Huge thanks to our crews. Love you people. Congrats everyone!
Syfy’s Surrealestate, Season 02/ Here’s a quick cinematography highlight reel. What an amazing cast and crew this was and the season was such a blast to shoot. This show an interesting set of challenges. I oversaw two units shooting simultaneously for the majority of production. @ninesteps led the crew on tandem unit with too many people to tag here unfortunately, while I led main unit. Thank you all for your incredible work and thank you to @rewritze , @desterhazy , @sammynlevine , @blueicepictures and the entire production team for having me. Congratulations on season three!

About two weeks ago, after laying on the couch for a few hours, trying to work up the energy to get up and go to bed, I finally made my move. Creaky, tired bones vertical again for the last time today. It will feel amazing to finally slide in to bed.
Once I had sleepily turned off all the lights on the main floor and started my way up the stairs, I happened to glance out the window and I saw it.
Fog.
Thick, glorious and oh so rare, here in Toronto, fog. Just like back east makes it.
25 minutes later I’m standing in Dundas Square with my camera in hand. I can’t resist it. Neon noir, I’m here for you again. Calling to me as it does. I never regret answering your call.
The good news keeps on coming! 😱
THE VOICES OF OUR MOTHER has been acquired by @shudder (U.S., UK, Australia and New Zealand)
It was such an absolute pleasure to produce this film alongside a powerhouse cast & crew!
Starring O’Brien, Sheila McCarthy (Women Talking) and Georgina Reilly (Quantum Leap), The Voices of Our Mother follows Harriet Scaflen (McCarthy) after the death of her mother at the age of 95. In the aftermath, Harriet has an unexplainable health scare, bringing her four estranged children to the family home to care for her. As their past animosities and secrets are revealed, they soon realize their mother’s health issues may be supernatural, and the awoken evil inside her is seeking revenge on her children for her own survival.
O’Brien directed from his own script, with Christopher Giroux and Justin Rebelo producing for Vortex Productions, and Jesse Ikeman, Nataline Rodrigues and Bill Marks exec producing.

I’ve never seen this much snow in Toronto in over twenty years of living here. It’s beautiful tonight, but tomorrow will be different. #nowheretoputitanymore
