Another quick compositing breakdown of a shot I did from “The Changeling: Tape 1” from @studio_adore_ . This one was a real doozy because I loved the colors in the color script for this shot but the assets didn’t quite match that vibe. So I tweaked and added to this shot until it did sorta kinda look like the color script panel. So glad to have been a part of this project! Go watch it if you haven’t yet! HOW MANY MONTHS? That’s right, it’s been 6 Months since Dog of the Samurai released on YouTube! If somehow you haven’t seen it yet, WATCH IT NOW, OR WE WILL BITE YOUR HEAD OFF.
What you are reading now was written Nov 27th, the day before Thanksgiving. 6 months is difficult to visualize. Who will I be in 6 months? What will the film’s legacy be by then? It’s hard to say. But what I do know is that I wouldn’t be where I am without all the wonderful people that came together to bring a vision to life. I had a lot to learn as a first time director, but this crew made believe I could brave new heights.
Thank you for everything, 6 months and beyond. Long live Dog of the Samurai.
