Feeling so very grateful after some time to reflect on the 12th Annual Baltimore Crankie Festival this past weekend. I am feeling tender, and tired but also proud, and so very lucky to get to share space, conversation, and community with this incredible group of artists and beings. We are joy scrollers! We are telling stories that are calling out to be told!
Thank you so so so much to all of the artists who participated and shared crankies, music, clown, and other unique skills they brought to the table. Thank you to:
@katherine_fahey
@donwingdowning
@sillysheilah
@sam_u_el_le_w_is
@freepileproductions
Lee Connah
Valeska Populoh
@zsmith888
@georgia.beatty
@_hunter_diamond_
@kaethe.hostetter
@pepitoycarmelita
And a huge THANK YOU to natashatylea and her amazing crew of BSA students who ran tech for the show! What an incredible capacity for learning and doing!
And finally thank you Baltimore and beyond for showing up! For 12 years! Thank you for selling out 5 shows, for proving to us that this work is important and needed and necessary, now more than ever.
