Flashback to 2016 at ‘Sensible Surfaces,’ Gallery at @port25_mannheim , Mannheim. Our participation marked a foray into redefining the photographic medium, where we showcased an experimental fusion of still and moving images. 📸
In this exhibition, we transcended traditional visual narratives. Our works, as interpreted by @nicolas.oxen , were not mere representations but explorations into the “condition of the possibility of visibility.” It was a journey through the varied realms of image manifestation, from the detailed pixels of plasma screens to the ethereal trails captured on Polaroid photograms. 🌌
The dialogue during the artist talk with curator @stefanie.kleinsorge and philosopher @nicolas.oxen was a highlight, where we delved deeper into the philosophical and technical intricacies of photography, seeking new aesthetic frontiers. 🤔
