NONOT LAB — the thing Magazine
May 30, 2026
@ninasieverding and @anton_rahlwes , founders of @the.thing.magazine , will host a workshop and talk:
WORKSHOP (2–4 pm) — the thing Magazine: Stop making content, start having ideas
In this workshop, the thing Magazine’s Nina Sieverding and Anton Rahlwes are going to teach you how to do your (social media) thing. Bring your half-baked ideas – they’ll show you how to structure digital stories that don’t just fill a feed, but actually mean something.
TALK (6–7 pm) — the thing Magazine: Doing our thing
With this talk, Nina Sieverding and Anton Rahlwes invite you into their world of things. They will give insights in how they founded @the.thing.magazine and the thing Gallery, what their everyday struggles look like and how they find and convert abstract topics into tangible media formats.
Workshop and Talk are free of charge.
However, as capacity is limited, registration is required. Please register via the link in bio.

We’re happy to finally share the redesign of our website, which we’ve been quietly working on over the past year. It took some time, but we like to think of it as a continuous work in progress – a reflection of our work in general: always evolving, adapting and constantly exploring.
We designed the website to be highly image-driven, using a dynamic grid structure to showcase our projects through an experimental composition within a stripped-back interface that feels both curated and raw, reflecting our studio’s approach to design.
The navigation is divided into two main sections: WORK, presenting current and ongoing projects, and ARCHIVE, containing selected projects from previous years.
Hop over to studio.nonot.de (link in bio) and take a look around.

Craft as language.
Material as story.
Process over noise.
For this new episode we spoke with Jakob about starting at 17, following intuition instead of overthinking, and why true craftsmanship will always outlive automation.
From hand-dyed footwear to collaborations with ASICS, Adidas and PUMA, his work is less about categories and more about curiosity.
Don’t overthink. Just start.
Momentum creates clarity.
