I can’t believe I got to meet @schlebbzz from the @the.levilog 😱🤯🪄 All three of their classes at @glfproductions left me impressed and inspired.

Curly haired folks: How do you take care of your curls during the cold season? Mine deflate like crazy due to the lack of moisture in the air. I have a humidifier in my apartment, and that seems to be helping. I've also been deep conditioning/using leave in conditioner more often, and have been using a protein treatment every couple of washes. But I'm curious what other people have tried. Alsooo, I shot both of these manually on my phone and feel pretty proud of how they turned out! I know very little about photography and have been wanting to learn for so long, so I'm starting with trying to understand how to use manual settings on my phone before investing in a good starter camera. One of the biggest highlights of this year for me was finally getting a chance to see @emancipator live at @secretdreamsfest . Their set brought me to tears multiple times, and I'm so grateful that @stitchnuptrouble_ got this video for me. 🥹 This was my first time having bubble braids braided into my hair, and it was a fun challenge flowing with them in. I can't wait to have another opportunity to wear them. I've been living in this shirt since I got it a couple weeks ago. It matches my hair perfectly and I love that it has @moonstarmemoirs art on it. 🥰 Anyone else get so excited about new clothes that you end up wearing them many days in a row, or is that just me? 😅 I'm still very much going through waves of feeling burnt out and overwhelmed by social media. I miss the days when my posts were mainly shared with people following my page. It's exhausting to have every post I make thrown out into the general public. While I do my best to not internalize all the bullying and negative comments I receive, it's still really sucks having to read them and it does take its toll on me at times. It makes me want to engage on this platform less and less, which sucks because I used to use this space to find community. Finally getting around to sharing some Ren Faire photos ✨️ I keep going through waves of feeling either very overwhelmed by social media or feeling like there's no point in making posts anymore. But I have been pushing myself to experiment with fashion more and I feel proud of this outfit that I put together for my visit with my mom on closing day, so here's a post, I guess. Lol. A huge highlight of @secretdreamsfest for me was hanging out at @dankhair 's booth and getting my hair braided by the incredibly talented @nightshadehair 🥰 it was my first time having cute festi braids and the coolest part is that the bubble braids are LED and have a pastel rainbow glow to them! I felt soooo cute rocking them all weekend long. 🥰 I love seeing friends chasing their passions and doing a damn good job honing in their craft. @secretdreamsfest was easily my favorite music festival experience I've had so far. The festival grounds were great. I loved that some of the dinos from Lost Lands were out and really appreciated how much space there was in relation to the number of attendees. It's been getting increasingly harder for me to attend larger scale events because there's never enough space to get out of the crowd and just relax, but it wasn't like that at all at Secret Dreams. I also absolutely lovedddd how much art was a part of the festival. There were tons of live painters and muralists, character actors, and fire and aerial performers. I had such a blast looking at the murals from previous years as well. It was also so cool meeting so many fans of @the.entangled.fae 😭 Every single interaction I had was so sweet and I truly value getting chances to talk about my art with people in person. Special shoutout to Zac, who surprised me by leaving a bunch of trinkets at my camp. It truly made my day! My favorite part, though, was witnessing so many friends working and contributing to the magic of the event. I'm so proud of all of you for doing the damn thing! 🥲 I have quite a few photos/videos I want to share from the event. Hihi friends! I wanted to do a post in which I kinda reintroduce myself as so much has changed for me in the last couple of years. So hi! I'm Schlebbzz. I'm 30 years old, queer, audhd, hypermobile, & probably have POTS (I'm working on getting a diagnosis, but it's been a challenging process) all of these diagnoses happened in the last year and a half and I've been learning how to better support my brain and body. It's been a whirlwind for sure, but I'm finally starting to feel like I have the tools to improve my life, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. My main special interests are psychology, relationships, and crochet. Some of my recent hyperfixations/interests as of like 2 years ago have been legos, jfashion, fashion dolls, autism, & adhd. In June of 2020, I started a small business, @the.entangled.fae where I offer crocheted hats, crochet patterns for my designs, and glasses chains. Up until then, and for the first 3 years of running TEF, I worked in mental health for a decade. As of the beginning of this year, I've transitioned to running TEF full time. Besides crocheting, I'm also very involved in circus arts/prop spinning. My main prop is leviwand, which I've been practicing for 11 years, and I recently started taking pole classes and am so in love with it. During the warm season, I travel to (at even work at some) flow festivals, music festivals, and anime conventions. I've been dabbling in crochet cosplays and have really enjoyed making them so far. I haven't been sharing a lot about me or my interests in the past year out of fear of people judging the heck out of me, and this is my attempt at working on masking online less. I have always believed that people should be able to like and do whatever brings them joy, as long as they're not harming others in doing so, and censoring myself online has made me feel like a hypocrite. I'm hoping that by talking about my interests more on here that I'll find some online friends who have similar interests. I spend a lottt of time home alone doing business things, and it's important for me to feel like I have a community online. Thank you so much for being here! ✨️

New hair color! ✨️ Green will always have a special place in my heart, but it was definitely time for something new. My hair has been green for like the past 4-5 years, but prior to that I used to change up my color like ever 6 months or so. Currently decompressing from @infrasoundfestival ✨️ This was my second Infrasound, (I've also been to Equinox once) and holy heck I can easily say this was my favorite one yet. I had the pleasure of working gate on opening day and got to meet and chat with so many wonderful souls! I have learned that I really enjoy working the festivals that I attend in some capacity. I love feeling like I'm contributing to magic that these events create. I also really appreciate the opportunity to meet people as I have always been an anxious bean and really struggle with initiating conversations. I truly felt like a part of the Infrasound family this year. 🥹 This was also the most I've been recognized for my crochet work at an event before! At least 20 people came up to me over the span of the weekend to say hi and chat about how my crochet work has been an inspiration to them. I really value being able to meet fans in person as I tend to spend the majority of my time home alone crocheting. I also saw someone rocking a Twisteria Witch Hat that they made using my pattern and legit cried happy tears like a baby immediately. 😭 I care so much about the festival communities I have been a part of for the last 11 years and I cannot put into words how much it means to me to feel like I've impacted those communities in a positive way. Thank you to the incredible people who worked super hard to put this event together. My partner, @elementaldesignstudio worked super hard with his build crew to make this event happen and I'm ridiculously proud of him. 🥲 Next up: working Art Bar at Electric Forest! Who am I going to see there?!
