@kunsthal Rotterdam🪁✨During his life, Malcolm Goodman collected more than 500 kites while traveling through over 50 countries. Together with his wife Jeanette, he bought an old bed & breakfast in Middleton-in-Teesdale, England, with the dream of transforming it into a kite museum. Room after room filled up with extraordinary kites—but sadly, permission to open the museum was never granted due to fire safety regulations. Luckily, the story didn’t end there. Our friends from the Dutch kite club—Scheltens&Abbenes, Bertjan Pot and Peter Hebbing—together with curator Charlotte Martens made this remarkable collection a traveling exhibition.
