This year’s AAPI Heritage Month event celebrates community and the power of storytelling.
We gathered for a morning of connection, inspiration and shared experiences. Our speaker panel included community members like Pixar animator and digital artist Peter Paul Bautista, filmmaker Mia Villanueva and motivational speaker Bora Jasa. Each shared personal journeys that highlighted resilience, identity and representation.
We also recognized the people, voices and stories that continue to shape and strengthen our communities.

Previously slow-creeping land movement in the Palos Verdes Peninsula has accelerated, at times shifting as much as several inches per week across hundreds of acres.
