Explore South Carolina in just 23 seconds! The truth is, this 23 second reel barely begins to scratch the surface of South Carolina, the Palmetto State. I originally set out on my goal of visiting all 46 counties in South Carolina so I could learn to like my new adopted home state. I walked away absolutely in love. With almost 200 miles of coastline, countless historical sites, inspiring small business owners, breathtaking waterfalls, quaint small towns, and so much more, South Carolina truly is a gem worth exploring. I’ve been asked quite a few times about my favorites from my time spent exploring and I’m still working on putting together my list, so once that’s ready I’ll share it! (Although to be honest, picking favorites feels kind of like choosing your favorite child!) In the meantime, what is your favorite place to visit in South Carolina? And how much of South Carolina have you explored? _________________________________ Hi! I’m Julie. South Carolina’s Ag + Art Tour is one of the most unique ways to explore the state @Discover_SC #sponsored Did you know there are more than 20,000 farms in South Carolina covering over 4 million acres of land?! Agribusiness is our state’s top industry, so the annual Ag + Art event that takes place each spring is one you don’t want to miss! The South Carolina Ag + Art Tour is a free, self-guided tour of farms and markets that feature local artisans at every stop! With 16 counties participating in the 2026 tour, there are lots of dates and locations to choose from to experience this special tour. Regardless of which weekend(s) you go, the tour is a fun way to explore area farms and meet local artisans and vendors A few of my highlights from weekend one of the Ag + Art Tour in Chester County were visiting @cotton_hills_farm and @watsonfarmsbeef 🌽 🐄 . I also enjoy getting to meet our state’s young entrepreneurs at the different farm sites. It is so encouraging to see the next generation building their business skills and I loved meeting @jolies_cakery and @jaylyns_jewelry One really special weekend on this year’s tour is the Farms of the Brave weekend. Over Memorial Day weekend you’ll have the chance to visit South Carolina’s veteran-led farms! #DiscoverSC #DSCAlliance26 #agandarttour _________________________________ Hi! I’m Julie.
