Today is the day we've all been waiting for… the grand opening of the new 📚Campbell Library📚! The persistence, the passion, the dedication that the community has put into this beautifully reimagined library reflects just how deeply our residents value this space and the role it will play in our community. This building acts as a welcoming space where people can learn, explore, connect, and simply spend time together. It's a place where our kids can feel comfortable expressing themselves, discovering new interests, and building relationships that strengthen the fabric of their neighborhoods. It is also a place that stands as a testament to what it looks like when we collectively agree to invest in opportunity and belonging. Thank you to @campbelllibrary staff, @sccld , @cityofcampbell , @friendsofcampbelllibrary , and all of the community partners that made this dream a reality in @downtowncampbellca . I can't wait to explore the space more during my Budget Town Hall May 27, at 6 p.m. Register for free at the link in my bio! #Library

Join us Thursday, May 14, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. for a conversation with Ruchika Sikri and Dr. Patrick Porter as they discuss Brain Fitness Blueprint, a guide that offers a 30 day plan to restore cognitive clarity, emotional balance, and overall vitality. Drawing on holistic practices and cutting‑edge research, they explore how modern stressors—poor sleep, constant screens, and chronic overload—disrupt brain function and how meditation, breathwork, nature‑based rituals, and emerging technologies can help reset the nervous system. Their framework explains why today’s world overwhelms the brain, how to reclaim focus and resilience, and which daily habits support long‑term mental sharpness and well‑being. The conversation highlights practical strategies for enhancing energy, clarity, and joy in everyday life. sccld.org/author-events
