Working with actors - as a coach, director, or scene partner - is my favorite thing. I think you’re the coolest people on the planet. And my admiration for what you do is a huge part of why I became an actor myself. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on a dozen national commercials, network shows and countless viral sketches. And once I got in the trenches, I realized just how much support we actors need …and how many “industry professionals” are willing to prey on our passion to sell us crap 👎

I’ve got some really good news: he’s out there. The boy who can’t contain his joy! Who lights up when he sees you! Who wants to make new things with you! Who loves exactly who you are. Who never tries to control you or ask you to be just a little bit less, please? Who leads by example and actually inspires *you* to be better (yes really!) Better at expressing what you need/want/feel, better at loving people, even better at finding your way to who you really are. The boy who notices. Who listens and asks “what else, my love?” Who has dreams for you, for himself, and for you together.
(And PS: not to focus on the negative, but please don’t wait for a *good enough* reason to end relationships with the people you know aren’t capable of loving you this way. Worrying too much about being perceived as rational and responsible and self sacrificing and endlessly patient just ultimately disconnects you from your radical intuition to do what you know is best. Just go! Go find him! He’s right around the corner.)
