I am excited to share that our project, Nimbus, received an Honorable Mention from the @idesignawards (International Design Awards).
Created in collaboration with Annika Hogan, Manasi Khatavkar, and Vishva Chauhan, Nimbus is a lightweight, durable, and repairable umbrella made entirely from recyclable TPU, replacing traditional metal ribs with an inflatable structure that improves longevity and sustainability. Its single-material design results in a 99% lower life-cycle impact than standard umbrellas.
