Our Week in Eggs, featuring stripes and a vague minimalist Scandi influence pioneered by @joemfbrown , semi-successful tie-dyed eggs🐰🐣, and @dianebrownrxart ’s masterfully peeled batch for Passover. ✡️
Welcome to @gabriellakhalil ’s hidden beauty & wellness wonderland: an entire floor of an unassuming Wall Street office tower with wraparound river views. Oh, and slide 4: When the reference picture becomes THE picture. 😂📸 @ee72 Spring issue 😘 @sarahharris
If you know me, you know I LOVE HOTELS and I go on vacation basically so I can stay in as many places (big, small, old, new) as possible. On this trip-12 days in Morocco, from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley to the Agafay desert—we stayed in 5 very different hotels (including 1 yurt 🛖). Our last night in Marrakech we installed ourselves in the sprawling 2-bedroom Red Suite at the 18th (some argue 17th…)-century riad, Dar Darma, in the Medina. It was so opulent and intense (yet semi-dilapidated in that lived-in way that feels romantic and real), it deserves its own post. One thing we learned on this trip: working fireplaces 🔥 in hotel rooms are everything (we also had one at the charming, immaculate Riad Siwan and used it every night—see first post!). And deep tubs (duh 🛁). Not pictured: the mirrored shower (eh) and second bathroom w/ 2 facing stone bathtubs built into the wall (so you & your companion can take a bath looking pleasantly at one another, I guess). Room tour in Stories & added to Highlights. 🇲🇦
2 days in the Ourika river valley and the Atlas Mountains. Hiked 12 miles (way off the beaten track OMG) up and down a mountain to the Berber village Anins (where we had the best tagine of our lives), nearly fell off a cliff, picked fresh mint. Stayed at a kasbah, and a sweet, misty mountain inn. Met some cats. 🗻🇲🇦
