Former prime minister Imran Khan’s International advisor Zulfi Bukhari speaks to Sky News on Khan’s health and his issues - @sayedz.bukhari@skynews@yaldahakim
I’m truly touched by all the love and kind messages following the @tlhumanrights hearing in Congress.
It was a privilege to help expose the systematic political repression unfolding in Pakistan.
Our voices will only grow louder when we unite and speak out through every platform available to us. If we remain silent, the repression will only deepen.
I’m extremely grateful to Co-Chairs #ChrisSmith and @repmcgovern for convening this critical hearing and for their meaningful contributions.
A sincere thank you to the Members of Congress and the Commission for their support and solidarity.
And well done, my friend @jared.genser — your commitment and advocacy are truly commendable. 🙏🙏

‘Drastic Weight Loss’ in Jail: Zulfi Bukhari Warns of Imran Khan’s Failing Health
By Farid Qureshi
LONDON: Senior PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari has raised the alarm over the alleged inhumane treatment of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, stating that he is being held in solitary confinement for 22 to 23 hours a day, a violation of both prison rules and basic human rights.
In a tweet posted on Monday, Bukhari claimed that Imran Khan has lost a significant amount of weight, prompting deep concern for his health and safety.
“Imran Khan is being held in 22–23 hours of solitary confinement daily — a blatant violation of all prison rules and human rights,” Bukhari wrote. “It has now been revealed that he has lost a significant amount of weight. This is deeply alarming and raises serious concerns for his health and safety.”
He added that during the past two years of Khan’s imprisonment, such harsh conditions and visible deterioration in health have not been witnessed.
“This level of inhumane treatment is unacceptable and unlawful,” he said. “We must raise our voices and demand immediate action. His personal doctors must be allowed to assess him without delay!”
There has been no official response yet from the government or prison authorities regarding the latest allegations.
Bukhari’s remarks are likely to intensify political tensions and increase pressure on authorities to allow independent medical assessment of the former premier.
