Studio Invasion is an intimate, curator-led open studio experience that brings audiences directly into the creative universe of exhibiting artist Yussif Adams Sheriff
@say.omas . Conceived as both an exhibition and a live conversation, the project seeks to collapse the distance between artist and audience, offering a rare opportunity to engage with contemporary artistic practice in real time.
Curated by Yin Fidella
@_alledif_ , Studio Invasion positions the studio as a site of inquiry, vulnerability, and dialogue. The open studio reflects on what it means to be a creative practitioner in our present moment—navigating identity, visibility, economics, and expression within rapidly shifting cultural landscapes.
At the heart of the program is an Artist Talk and Q&A session, moderated by Titus Nartey Gakpe
@ttdhoku_ , and recorded as a live podcast. This conversation will explore the perspectives of creatives today, addressing the pressures and possibilities of making work in a time defined by uncertainty, digital saturation, and renewed calls for authenticity.
Studio Invasion is intentionally designed as a safe and inclusive space—one where artists and art enthusiasts can meet on equal ground, fostering honest exchange, shared reflection, and community-building. The gathering invites creatives to speak freely about their processes, challenges, and aspirations, while audiences are encouraged to listen, question, and participate.
The afternoon will be accompanied by a curated music set from Selectaa Sounds
@seletaa.sounds_ , creating an atmosphere that blurs the boundaries between exhibition, conversation, and social encounter.
With attendance limited to 30 guests, Studio Invasion prioritizes intimacy and depth over scale, emphasizing meaningful engagement over spectacle. This project signals a growing movement toward artist-centered platforms that value dialogue, presence, and collective imagination.
