Sharing this special journey with my friends never gets old.. travelling on #tigerexpress into Taman Negara, Malaysia’s National Park to see the wild jungles natural beauty and learn about the challenges it faces.
Right now there are less than 150 wild tigers in Malaysia, a scary decline from an estimated 3000 since 1950. We must act now to save the iconic majestic species from extinction.
After our first night aboard the exquisite @easternoriental train we woke up early and disembarked the train to be greeted by local music and dancing. We then met our caving guides. We travelled 20km on eMTBs to visit two caves in the area. The surrounding jungle would have been full of tigers in years gone by. It was emotional and beautiful and l am so grateful for this deep connection I share with this magical part of the world
The team at Taman Negara is supported by @savewildtigers , it’s a joy to return to this place for my fourth visit and hear and see developments happening in real time.
May our journey continue in raising awareness and the timely importance in protecting These fragile habitats and all that live in harmony.

Once we got there we explored the jungle floor with Eric and his team of experts who educated us about the flora and fauna and the dangers that poachers pose to wild tigers.
We then headed along the treetop walk with Wie Wie and Nazza to spot monkeys, birds and much more more. It was emotional and beautiful and I am so grateful for this deep connection I share with this magical part of the world
