this year has been so wonderful!🪡🧵i often measure time by sewing projects and ive made so many beautiful things this year. i’ve sacrificed so much to become the designer i am today, and it’s just the beginning! i have so many ideas and so many skills to hone. i am so grateful to all my patient friends that understand why i bail so that i can stay home and sew. my studio is truly my happiest place (besides a moss-covered forest). i really have turned my love for little arts and crafts into a career and it’s only going to get bigger and better! i love this life!✨
feeling like a caged animal lately, so very soon i embark on another adventure in the desert 🏜️ i love this unforgiving place. i yearn to make the bed up in the back of my truck on some dusty road and to fall asleep as the coyotes howl in the distance… the yucca man possibly around any corner as i squat to pee in the middle of the night. oh how i love camping! how i love being scared!!!!
the costume was roadkill 🦌 skirt made from salvaged roadkill furs from @necessary.tools and upcycled fur coats. obviously, bodychain made from chicken wings and rotisserie chickens that i ate and cleaned. oh and a deer spine that i found in the northern California woods. the antlers were 3D printed from my dear friend @deeevo.3 and hand painted by me! yes, i know that im weird 🙂
