Nestled by the Bay in San Francisco
@studiomcgee project is an expression of all of the best design elements: layers of modern and traditional style influences, warm natural materials, and of course, all of that beautiful natural light peeking in through the windows.
The vision for this project was a classic timeless style with a few modern twists, a calming palette, and a few moody elements here and there, says
@sheamcgee .
When you step into the Home on the Bay Project you’re greeted by a hallway that opens up into the main living space. From the tongue and groove on the ceiling to the brick from the exterior filling the backsplash, each element makes this custom new-build kitchen feel intentional. Adjacent to the kitchen space the layout of the Home on the Bay opens up to a dining nook and living area designed for
@studiomcgee clients to share relaxed meals, watch movies, and entertain guests alongside the heart of the home. The dining room is all about blending form and function while making the most out of the few pieces you have to work with. In the great room vaulted ceilings and stained beams draw the eye up and bring an elevated feeling to the entire space. Designing a primary bedroom is all about creating a calming, peaceful space to retreat to at the end of a long day, and the primary space in this home is a perfect representation of that idea.
