As I marched with pride at the #TogetherAlliance protest yesterday alongside @DawnButler, @missfayetierney @debbie.wb and the incredible crowd. What stood out most? The calm. Half a million people, united with strength and purpose, standing peacefully against racism and the far right. Followed by speakers including @DawnButler @greenpartyzack @ub40official @jenbristercomedyThis makes me proud to be a Londoner and British diverse, united, and unafraid to stand up for what’s right.Shoutout to the Trafalgar Square performers bringing the energy, including @joycrookes @jessieware and @selfesteemselfesteem I also felt inspired this week at the @britdiversity Awards created by founder @diversityriley a powerful reminder that Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is here to stay, and so many of us are committed to pushing it forward through our work, message and daily lives.This is what people power looks like.

Back at the @metpolice_uk with the dream team here, supporting the new recruits including officers and detectives, facilitating their learning and development, and holding space for important conversations about how they can reflect and work better with the communities they serve, building More Trust. Less Crime. High Standards.⏰ There’s still a long way to go, and real challenges to face but seeing new recruits come in with energy, integrity, and a real drive to make a difference gives me hope.Change isn’t easy, but I’m proud to be part of the journey.Shout-out to some of the other fab facilitators not in this pic… and to the rest of you, you know who you are. It’s great to be part of a team of specialists: open-minded, think-outside-the-box kind of people who are passionate about creating positive change!

Pride Summer of Love Highlights ️‍ ️‍ ️Sharing moments from the big conversations at the @prideinlondon studio with @ellamorganc & @michaelgunning1With around a 60% reduction in Pride support this year, there’s no doubt it’s hit the community hard. But despite that, I want to also celebrate the overwhelming Allyship at @prideinlondon and beyond it truly kept me going. Action in Allyship means more than standing with us when it’s easy, it means showing up when it’s hard. Huge appreciation to @asos , @heathrow_airport and everyone on the Pride parade who showed up this year. ️‍ ️‍ ️Thank you to everyone continuing to champion equality, equity, inclusion and ️ for all marginalised and underrepresented groups and those impacted by EDI cuts.Your visibility matters and your support makes all the difference.
