A little commotion for the men’s groomers please. I really love doing this work 🙏🏽
Being a skin forward makeup artist who started my career working with male music artists, I fell into men’s grooming pretty easily. A popular misconception is that it really only consists of anti shine powder. The reality is that a lot of men aren’t taking care of their skin well but you need it to look amazing. Or they are traveling so much they show up looking exhausted and need to look invigorated. A lot of it stays between me and the makeup chair, but don’t underestimate the importance of someone who knows what they are doing when hiring makeup for male talent. A great before/after example above of talent/production schedule that doesn’t have time for shaving but prod wants a clean look. Say less! ✔️
I’m currently on a series doing celebrity men’s grooming coming out this fall with a lot of familiar faces and I am so grateful they chose me for the job. Also exhausted! 🙏🏽 ☯️
