First Pro Solo at Hyrox Cardiff āœ… 1:16:36 in the Pro field… and a bit of redemption. Last time I attempted Hyrox, I cramped full body and didn’t even finish so this one meant a lot. No pressure, no pace, just have fun and don’t cramp 🤣 Not perfect (accidentally picked up the 16’s for the farmer carry so had to do it all again with the 24s šŸ˜‚), but that’s part of it… you learn, you adjust, you come back better. I’m deep in CrossFit semi-finals prep right now and don’t train Hyrox specifically, but I wanted to get uncomfortable and test myself in something different. And that’s exactly the point If you’ve been thinking about trying Hyrox, just book it. You don’t need to be a runner, you don’t need to feel ready. There’s no pressure to be perfect.
