First Pro Solo at Hyrox Cardiff ā
1:16:36 in the Pro field⦠and a bit of redemption.
Last time I attempted Hyrox, I cramped full body and didnāt even finish so this one meant a lot. No pressure, no pace, just have fun and donāt cramp š¤£
Not perfect (accidentally picked up the 16ās for the farmer carry so had to do it all again with the 24s š), but thatās part of it⦠you learn, you adjust, you come back better.
Iām deep in CrossFit semi-finals prep right now and donāt train Hyrox specifically, but I wanted to get uncomfortable and test myself in something different.
And thatās exactly the point
If youāve been thinking about trying Hyrox, just book it. You donāt need to be a runner, you donāt need to feel ready. Thereās no pressure to be perfect.
Get out of your comfort zone, have fun with it, and see what youāre capable of.
