One of the things that makes Toast to Pride so special is the incredible support from our local restaurant community. 🌈 This event is truly collaborative at its heart. Some of the region’s most beloved restaurants are coming together to help create a beautiful brunch experience in support of @safeidaho and the Sandpoint Pride Festival — donating time, talent, creativity, and care to help make this event possible. In a small town, support like this matters deeply. It’s a reminder that community is built through people showing up for one another. Through businesses opening their hearts and spaces. Through collective effort, generosity, and celebration. We’re so grateful to the restaurants, chefs, staff, and local partners helping bring Toast to Pride to life. Please help us celebrate and support these amazing community partners: @beetandbasil @mtnfoodco @sweetpeas_sandpoint @thebankplace @bluebirdbakeryid @ivanos.sandpoint @matchwoodbrewing @thegranarysandpoint @heart.bowls @eichardtspublichouse @evansbrotherscoffee @alanajoyeckhart Toast to Pride May 31 🌈 Tickets available now. Announcing Sandpoint’s First-Ever Pride on the Mountain! On March 21, 2026 in partnership with @schweitzer_mountain — SAFE seeks to uplift our mutual love of our LGBTQ+ community and our inclusive Mountain in a day-long event focused on joy, belonging, and powderful experiences. Pride Outside, a year-round program of SAFE exists to engage the LGBTQ+ and allied community members in a series of healthy activities outside to cultivate safe conversations, share experiences, build relationships and have fun. Over the past six years, Sandpoint Pride strives to affirm the dignity and equality of the LGBTQI2S community, to welcome and celebrate their contributions to society, and support the ongoing movement to secure their rights, freedom, and safety through our annual summer festival. Now, because one weekend every summer just isn’t enough — we will host our first-ever winter Pride event. We cannot wait to see you there. Event details and schedule can be found at /pride-on-the-mountain #sandpointpride #safeidaho #schweitzer #prideoutside #sandpoint

Tuesday. Feb 3 | 5-7pm | Matchwood Brewing Join @safeidaho and fellow community members for our monthly Rights & Resistance gathering Tuesday, Feb 3. Real and irreversible harm is happening across our country. We will not let cruelty prevail. Our collective power and safety is found when we gather in solidarity to protect the most vulnerable. At this gathering, we will hear from community leaders about the power of love in action. We will share resources and materials on how to keep each other safe. And, we will discuss action we can take to protect our communities and democracy. Who better than us.

OUR NON-DISCRIMINATION ORDINANCE SERVES AS A REFLECTION OF OUR MOST FUNDAMENTAL VALUE: Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Sign. Share. Show Up. Speak Out.

Nearly 15 years ago, Sandpoint’s elected leaders took bipartisan, unanimous action to pass an LGBTQ+ inclusive non-discrimination ordinance. That decision made our community safer, more vibrant, and more economically strong. And it inspired cities across Idaho to adopt their own protections, all of which are still in place today. At SAFE, we’re working around the clock to remind our community just how critical this NDO is. We need you: share your story, sign the petition, and help remind Sandpoint that LGBTQ+ people have the same hopes and dreams as everyone else and deserve equal treatment under the law. Many local businesses support this ordinance because they believe in being open to all. We will not stand by while a small few try to divide our town with fear. Sandpoint’s NDO has been a success since the day it passed with unanimous, bipartisan support, keeping this community safe, welcoming, and strong. And we intend to keep it that way. 🖊️ SIGN HERE: (link in bio)
