This is a self-appreciation post.
In the wise words of Snoop Dogg, I want to thank me.
More specifically, I want to thank this body of mine — this 90+ kg body.
For carrying me through 40+ years.
For getting me through a HYROX in 1:49 — with gas still left in the tank.
For letting me sprint 100m without thinking twice. (If you know me, you know love sprinting)
For making a sub-60 10K feel comfortable.
For helping me deadlift 2x my body weight and squat easy over 1x.
For taking every injury… and still coming back stronger.
This body has been through different shapes, different phases — and it will keep changing. That’s part of being human.
So here’s the deal —
I’ll keep showing up for you, if you stay kind to me in this next phase.
I ran shirtless for you.
For every version of you I’ve loved… and struggled to love.
But this — right now — is you in your purest form.
And you’ve always carried me.
You still do.
For that, I accept you exactly as you are.
