Odyssey of Love by @kevinoliver9371 was one of the most emotionally moving theatre experiences I’ve watched in Bangalore.
From the music and storytelling to the choreography, costumes, makeup and lighting design — every detail felt intentional and immersive. Midway through the performance, I genuinely got emotional.
What made this even more special for me personally was that Kevin Oliver was actually my music teacher during my school years at Modern High School, and seeing him create something on this scale felt incredibly inspiring.
Huge appreciation as well to @jackiebesterwitch for the stunning styling and makeup direction throughout the production — the textures, flowers, silhouettes and visual detailing looked absolutely beautiful on stage.
Theatre like this reminds you why live performance, music, fashion and storytelling still matter so deeply.

While the men of the court dazzle in Rocky’s signature glitz, the narrative is grounded by the characters that drive our history. From the ethereal presence of Shakuntala to the contrasting energies of the sages—Kanava’s paternal warmth and Durvasa’s legendary, brooding fire—the costumes tell the story before a single word is spoken.
