Last summer, I quit my job and took a leap to start building for hospitality inspired by those that no matter how hard times can be, they still welcome us with a smile and make us feel at home. I started with curiosity and @samuelrivera21 being my technical (and sometimes emotional) soundboard while I also learned to be the one to build 👩🏻‍💻. When they say it takes longer than you’d expect, they are 120% correct. Yet I truly believe that what it’s meant to be, it will be and things come together at the right time. Earlier this week, Samuel and I flew back home to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 to officially test and share what we’ve been up to. It means everything that we got to do this back home and are so thankful for everyone that showed up; and those that have showed up throughout our journey supporting us and answering our many questions to make sure we build the right thing. It was extra special that the very first pop up on @almibarapp was @n0che.tr4viesa.jaja 🫶🏼 When we watched @miichael.tr4vieso produce one in SF, our path forward became so clear. He truly inspired our pivot and re-focus, and has been supporting us ever since. Swipe ‘til the end as he always has the best words to explain what we’re doing. Thankful for @champlignon @c.coimbre @ketelbandido @raisvo @raulenriquemr @barranegrapr team for sharing their talent and space to make this night possible (and saying yes to testing out the app). And thanks to our queens @thevictoriaholiday @sapphirebeepr and our dj @polienlosplatos for bringing their energy to create an epic night. Our hearts are full and so is our product roadmap!
