This evening is one that reinforced the profound power of storytelling in its most authentic form.

One moment that stood out in particular was Nelson’s story. His openness in sharing a deeply personal journey growing up alongside his father, confronting significant personal trauma, and channelling that experience into a raw and compelling short film was an act of real courage.
