Para Robert Rauschenberg, el arte no entendía de límites. Su impulso experimental lo llevó a eliminar fronteras entre disciplinas y a colaborar con creadores de ámbitos como las artes visuales, la performance, la ciencia o la danza.
Un legado que continúa vivo e inspira piezas como la que propone ELAMOR en este vídeo.
Con motivo de la conmemoración internacional del centenario del artista, el museo, con el apoyo de la Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, presenta una instalación especial en torno a ‘Express’, una de sus obras más representativas.

How many times have you seen this? Pictured this? It’s neither fictional nor a memory, but it isn’t happening yet. You can’t tell what led to what. It has been endlessly reproduced—losing its form, its consistency. Still, you want it. You want it so bad. Theory is low; low is theory! And there’s luckily a low way of seeing.
How many times have you fantasized about it? Dreamed about it? It’s actually quite simple: the deepest need, the mental scene—the little theater of your mind. An immediate vision relies on its shallow appearance. Although the objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear. It’s always the same. You’re back in the same place, in the same image.
