Concept Illustration for a 3min AFI Visual Essay “All That Stayed Behind” by @kwkaustin It’s an Asian Immigrant story told through the POV of the parents that stayed behind. The story is set in Hong Kong, Kowloon 1975, Caged Coffin Homes with a parallel Fantasy Apartment. We’re 3 days away from shooting and I’m SO EXCITED to bring this project to life with some of the most amazing people!
An AFI Conservatory Film: “480 Seconds” a story by Quinn Spicker @quinnspicker
The story is loosely based on true events. Post Cold War, Boris Yeltsin is informed that a nuclear bomb is headed straight for Moscow, and he has a mere 480 seconds to respond.
I wanted the design of the Fallout Shelter to reflect the looming pressure the protagonist, Yeltsin, was feeling. It was integral to the design to have the curved arches not just to emphasize the feeling of claustrophobia/compression, but to also be historically accurate to the visual differences between a bunker and a fallout shelter (round to withstand a nuclear attack).
I was incredible lucky and thankful to have had such a supportive team that allowed me to make this vision come to life. Here are some snippets of our love.

That’s a wrap on Season 2 of @sohelpmecbs !
The strike has been hard on many people, so when Peter called me I was so excited to work again! To make things even better I was invited to be a Coordinator instead of an Assistant. Being in the union for such a short time I recognize what a privilege it was to not only be one of the first people back at work but to also have a bump up the ladder, and for that I am very grateful.
I’ve learned so much these past few months and I am so happy to have been a part of such a supportive Art Crew.
