Been working very hard behind the scenes over probably at least the last 6 months, and the result is a brand new series of high production multi-media dance music parties based in Cornwall. @liminalityuk is officially launched, and with support from @prsfoundation I have put together probably the coolest show imaginable at @cornishbank . Bringing together so many different corners of the scene, a whole series of custom art installations, @shadow.works_ immersive lighting and the absolute GOAT Sully himself. Also gonna be breaking out a bunch of new music - my best yet - so make sure to come along early. There’s so much more to say about this project - check out the ‘wtf is liminality’ post over on the page to find out more about the theming and approach etc if you’re interested.

Finally went through my camera. Here’s 20 moments of thousands uncaptured from the most exciting and life changing adventure.
1 - tivoli, copenhagen (near the end) - a little improv i keep going back to and listening to, because it captured a feeling i can’t explain
2 - the hague (near the beginning) - jamming
3 - hamburg - the perfect crow sound
4 - also hamburg - scenes from this stunning river beach
5 - south sweden - just after being examined by swedish border police, heavy rain and trying to find somewhere to camp
6 - still south sweden - the levels of relief once we’d found a campsite (it was looking pretty dire out there)
7 - still south sweden - sorry if this was your tree/garden, we were desparate
8 - rosso island, sweden - lil camp tour. nights aren’t really nights this far north
9 - oslo, norway - one of my favourite cities
10 - E16 road, norway - just the most immaculate drive through some of the most stunning scenery imaginable. digging deep into the back catalogue with lotr music
11 - secret fjord - our camp on a cliff edge in the fjords. made a makeshift pizza oven. currently ranking #1 for views from my tent
12 - fjord 2 - some surprisingly cold water. lots of swimming, hiking and absolute brainrot conversations
13 - the way back to oslo - godlike weather conditions and peace at this camp not far from the main road. this was the day after the big turning point of the trip, a big storm that felt serendipitous.
14 - same place - seeing how fast i could do a full packdown, turns out exactly 10 mins. i loved living in that tent for much of the summer.
15 - oslo again - a stunning art piece we stumbled across in Ekeberg park.
16 - vanern, sweden - 2 tranquil days spent by the side of this giant lake with all the locals. accidentally camped in the nudist area sorry
17 - stockholm - the happiest reunion and best weekend (this was the thai festival btw)
18 - stockholm - getting my first tattoo
19 - sweden - big feels heading towards home, working on some new tracks and filled with inspo
20 - copenhagen - just some shittalk from an epic 2 hour pool tournament that came down to the last couple of shots (in 20 games)

Majella: live at 00:00 up a mountain in Norway just went live on youtube.
Back in July I visited Norway and Sweden with @robin_leeps with the ambition to record a live session somewhere. When we discovered Stegastien Lookout at Aurlundsfjord, I knew it had to happen there.
Due to how busy the lookout gets during the day, we decided to record at night. Luckily, due to the high latitude and time of year, we had just enough light to film even at the darkest point of the night. We haven’t brightened this footage - this is how it actually looked.
Since we were living out of a car with only a couple of 1 man tents and our filming gear, the setup had to be as minimal as possible (in hindsight I regret not using a table as I was crouched over for the whole thing). Also, because some idiot (me) forgot to charge their camera batteries, we only had enough power for 1 take - this is that take.
My music has always felt very tied to landscape and journeys, so recording live sessions in this way feels like it just makes sense. I’m treating this as a prototype for hopefully doing a lot more live sessions in scenic spots around the world in years to come.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the gigs recently and listened to the EP! It’s been great to share music with some amazing new people over the past couple of months and meet some beautiful new faces.
That’s likely it for gigs until later in the summer - will be using the time to finish some tracks and keep developing the live A/V set
