Newport-based artist Sam Heydt @samheydt unveils the latest incarnation of KITSCH, her ever-evolving concept that merges art, design, and retail into a single immersive environment.
With past iterations in Miami, Newport, Venice, and Vienna, KITSCH collapses the boundary between artwork and artifact, transforming the Museum Shop into a space for exploration.
Featuring small, collectible artworks multiples and unexpected encounters, this takeover invites you to engage play not as something we outgrow, but as an ongoing act of discovery—and to take part in the experience.

In their piece CARBON: Change the Channel, they "explore themes of destruction and the myth of the American Dream, presenting an unsettling reflection on our current ecological and existential crises." OPENING NIGHT: JAN 22, 7pm-Late Av. Benjamin Franklin 151-A, Condesa, CDMX Reality, as we know it, has ceased to be a static dimension, evolving instead into a canvas of infinite layers. The exhibition ARtists explores this paradigm shift, where Augmented Reality (AR) is not merely a technological tool, but a critical language that expands the boundaries of perception and physical space. Through the lens of three visionary creators, this exhibition proposes a dialogue between the tangible and the virtual, the ancestral and the algorithmic.
