Spent the day with @munky_korn talking guitar tone, early studio stories and the sound that shaped the first two @korn_official records. This was for my friends at Distortion Inc (@dstrtn.inc ) who dropped a limited run of custom pedals built on those early tones that sold out in hours!
Munky shared how instrumental producer Ross Robinson was to their early sound, a raw heavy approach that helped the band shape a new era of metal for generations to come.

Knowing your subject matters.
Before shooting Zakk Wylde at YouTube Theater, I did my homework and I knew he likes to walk into the crowd for a solo. I asked him which song he does it in and made sure I was already on a wide lens before the moment came.
That shot didn’t happen because I reacted quickly, it happened because I was ready for it before it even started.
