Sup Y’all, it’s been a dream of mine to play in the organ trio context, I never had the opportunity to get those calls, so I decided to start one with my brother @samfribush hailing from Greensboro,NC. Our good friend and mentor @charliehunterguitar was the connector, he told us “YOU TWO PLEASE MAKE SOME MUSIC TOGETHER, THE CULTURE IS STARVING FOR WHAT YOU GUYS BRING” Of course we’re both like “HELL YEAH, LETS FUCKIN GO” There’s something special about the Virginia & North Carolina connection, perhaps it’s the ACC territory 😉 but also the blue collar aesthetic that exists amongst our people in this area. Today is special because our first ever single “I Couldn’t Love You More” by @sade is out on all streaming platforms. This is one of flyest songs of all time, the vocals, sexy chords, groove, the mix, and all around zen like atmospheric journey this song takes you on. I believe presenting this song in the Organ Trio context would open up a fresh sonic experience without losing the essence of the original. We present to you Fonville x Fribush !!
