It’s always hardest to recognise a toxic situation while you’re in it so go easy on yourself when you’re on the other side of it because it can be a doozy. I wrote this song almost 2 years ago with the incredible @frances_music and it’s hard to put into words how much it means to me. @dylannash produced the hell out of it and the one and only @erincaffff is singing her heart out on it as well. It’s about the heartbreak of hindsight and after feeling the response from performing it on tour these last 2 weeks, I can’t wait for it to be yours. x

what a beautiful first week of AHDHI... thank you to everyone who’s streamed, posted, sent messages, sung along with me on tour and every radio station, playlist & tv network that’s had me in amongst it. the support feels so nice and warm and I’m forever grateful! always a mix of emotions during release week but can safely say this was one of my favourite of all time and I got to do it at home in Aus. love u all so much, let’s keep it going my guys ❤️🩹 x
a little cheeky look at how the sausage was made all filmed by the one and only @erincaffff ... fun fact about this visualizer is it was shot down the road from the first house I lived in when my family moved to Sydney when I was 7 and I hadn't been back there for probably 20 years. It just made me think about how much has changed since. I moved around a ton as a kid and I guess that's a big part of why home has never really been a place but always more of a feeling for me and why I've struggled to grasp the concept at all. It's why when @jackshepherd___ sent me the idea to perform it alone, around an empty beautiful house, in a place that felt familiar but that I didn't know at all, it felt right for the time this song was written about... anyway, I hope you love the song, the visualizer and this stunning and chaotic looking behind the scenes. love you x
