Viele Veranstaltungen – Ein Veranstaltungskalender
Fokusgruppentermine: Viele Veranstaltungen – Ein Veranstaltungskalender

It’s never easy to organise an event in a new venue. Everything is done for the first time, trust has to be gained and people have to be convinced.
That’s why we are super happy with what we accomplished together on Friday. Today we want to take the chance to say thank you to everyone involved.
This event was only possible due to the help of so many friends who supported us on different levels of involvement. From mental support during the preparation phase, giving advices for the curatorial decisions, the graphic design, technical advices, giving us feedback on our ideas, to the direct help and support on the day of the event: setting up the space, organizing things, working at the entrance, helping with the change overs, the sound settings, the awareness work and lastly also the cleaning up of the space. This would not be possible without all your help.
All this work goes directly into the atmosphere of the event and of course contributes to the way how the performing artists can express themselves in this environment. We always achieve the most inspiring and relevant processes when everybody feels valued, seen and respected. This changes everything for us as hosts. We are so happy that all the artistic contributions turned out so beautifully and gave us a sense of belonging, community, political perspectives and exceptional music.
We had the feeling that together all these little parts shaped a full experience for our audience. An audience that was present from the very beginning and gave us back a lot.
Again, we want to thank everyone of you who joined Made Up Realities and supported us: the audience, the soul kitchen team, the artists and our team.

Jagged Verses is an evening of performative readings, a video and music assembled by the Viennese trans-lesbian collective IN/D. Happening at Hamburg’s Golden Pudel Club, this offering gathers a manifold of artistic op/positions. A play with form, where touch - touch as in memory – constitutes and dismantles the boundaries between the intimate, the immediate and the devious. To contain what eludes us, grasp what is closest, and reach through “the fog”. A collective act, perplexing each own’s obfuscated disseminations of subjectification. Hinting at ideas around collective memory and
trans temporalities, the artists seek the embedded as well as embezzled.
special thanks to @irinischwab@semi.nice 🤍🩻
Language: Texts presented will be in English as well as German / moderation in English
{ timetable tba
Everyone is welcome at the event, yet it is crucial for us to highlight that IN/D is centering trans and lesbian experiences as well as those adjacent to the former, therefore be mindful what space you are entering. We explicitly warmly invite trans lesbians, questioning people and their support systems.
There will be no policing at the door.
If you have any questions regarding the event you can drop us a dm anytime.
Looking forward, see you there !

IN/DISPARATE is a platform for a series of performative reading sessions, extending to film
screenings, community care and cozy convocations centering transfemme, transmasc and lesbian experiences.
Assembling ways of being, being present, navigating presences, playfully pre/sensing modalities yet to come, yet to un/cover; getting to, as in being granted to, counter-intuitively anticipate - getting together, never lasting - avoiding forecasting. A play with forms that contradicts, accepts and affects. A fragmentary trans/position of the mundane mediated through text passages, soundscapes, moving bodies and images, venturous and vulnerable at the same time, uncompromising yet aiming to accommodate at all times. An imperfect point, or rather disparate fine points, that can constitute - in McKenzie Wark’s words:
“a situation that is pleasing, for as long as it lasts. And in ways that can cast a refrain that can echo, that can be felt and heard, [...] ///+ to endure. And that can construct a situation from which the transfixions to come would be more than shadows.” (Wark, 2021)
Meeting at the junction, marking the loose liaison among butchness and trans/femininity, IN/D attempts to negotiate legacies, continuities and the nowness of de/constructing queer spaces.
With Made Up Realities, we aim to propose unlikely encounters and practices that challenge and disrupt existing notions of the public spheres around us.
Made Up Realities seeks to foster collective resilience and agency through music and storytelling. We come together with our eyes, ears, and hearts wide open.
What is it that makes us a community?
