One of my wildest dreams finally came true last June 12, 2024. To finally say the words "Welcome to the Mega Ball 2024. My name is Sam Thurman and I will be your host for this evening". Thinking about it still gives me goosebumps.
Thank you so much @megamagazine for the opportunity of a life time.
As I sit here contemplating what to write, all I can find myself doing is smiling. After all how do you put to words 3 years worth of moments, memories and experiences.
When you break down 3 years, you get 1193 days or 28,640 hours or 1,718,400 minutes. Looking at it that way, that's probably the number of laughs I've shared, lessons I've learned and friendships I've made during my stay at Titan. Each and every one of those moments I hold near and dear to my heart.
So as this chapter in my life closes and a new one opens, I look back with joy and pride. I would not be where I am now, going where I am going, if not for the time I spent and people I met at Titan who helped shaped me into the person I am today.
To my fellow Titans, keep up the good work. Keep fighting the good fight and know that I will always be rooting for all of you.
To my bosses, thank you for the opportunity of a lifetime. For me to be a part of something bigger than myself and to contribute to the development of a sport I love dearly.
To my team, thank you for being the best teammates anyone could ever ask for. Karla, thank you for being an amazing mentor and friend. I owe you so much. Ian and EJ, thank you for putting your trust in me and believing in me. I hope you learned as much from me as I did from both of you.
I could go on and on, but I think this post is getting long enough as it is. So if it wasn't clear, THANK YOU again to everyone at Titan! I love you all dearly and you all hold a special place in my heart.
