Great times at Roadburn Festival 2026 seeing so many favourite artists, so many good friends and helping out with sound and some stage/tech bits.

Saturday was our last gig with Sam Drower on bass guitar.
Sam has been a big part of Host Body since the beginning and helped shape what the band is now.
We're going to miss his intense stage presence, exceptional taste in music and overall passion. Anyone that has met Sam also knows that he is a wonderful human being, full of generosity and kindness, with a huge heart. He's also one of the best sound engineers you'll ever meet.
Thank you Sam for the unique contribution you’ve made to Host Body and for being part of our lives. We look forward to witnessing your future artistic projects and maybe you'll even consider doing sound for us sometime 🤞😉 ❤️

Yesterday was my final show with Host Body. This band has been a big part of my life for the last 3 and a half years. I'm going to miss the music and the people involved very much. Onwards to the next adventure.

LA DISPUTE / VS SELF / PIJN - European Tour 2026.
Thank you to @pijnband for trusting me with your sound once again. You are a wonderful band and even better people - What an honour it is to call you my friends.
It is not possible to say enough good things about my new friends in @la_dispute , @vs_self and their respective crews. Truly the kindest people and the best musicians. Thank you for being so nice to us.
I really don't know what else to say other than I miss you all already! 21 shows, 11 countries, 5600+ miles, countless decibels, unfathomable amounts of fun. I'll never forget this tour.
2025 recap post. It's been a cool year filled with interesting things. I was honored to be the Best Man at my Brother's wedding in Thailand. Sugar Horse took me along for their first out-of-Europe show when they played in Morocco. I went on tour in the UK with Slow Crush, SOM and Blanket, and made friends for life. I became the Head Operations Engineer at Exchange, a venue I love and am proud to work at. I started working with Frontierer and had some of the most fun I've ever had mixing a band across festivals this Summer. We took Host Body out for a whole bunch of shows – Including some very memorable ones with the Meth guys - and started recording the first full length album. EU shows with Slow Crush and Pijn. I turned 40 years old, and don't plan to slow down any time soon (Unless my hearing gives up on me!).
I'm very grateful to be living this weird and interesting life. Thanks to all the friends, family, bands and people who made 2025 so memorable.
Thank you @slowcrushband for the last two weeks! I loved getting to mix your sound on this tour and can't wait until we can hang out again. The best people and the best crew 💜

Mixing on the main stage at ATG with @sugarhorse.are.awful . Opening the Px3 with @codespeaker . Headlining the Bixler with @frontiererband . Glad to be a part of it. The @emmaruthrundle into @envybandofficial one-two punch were two of my favourite shows to watch as a fan so far this year as well. I love Arctangent!
@meth.band were a pleasure to play with and get to know. The final bosses of Extreme Music and the nicest boys too. Shame it was such a short run.
