NEW BASS DAY! 🎸🎶
The three hour round trip to collect this ebay purchase today was accompanied by the new @shotgun.marmalade album. Because it's awesome and I wanted to hear some stupendous basslines to inspire, and their bass player Ryan certainly brings that ❤️👍
Expect to see it on a @the_replicas_uk stage soon!

AWESOME FULL BAND GIG INCOMING! 📣 📣 📣
Delighted to announce that myself and The Revolt have the opportunity to support @wearepetneeds at @thegiffardarms in July. This will be a belter, and could easily sell out, so make sure you get 🎟️ to avoid disappointment ✊
New tshirts up on Bandcamp now! 👕
Artwork based on 'The Great Wave Off Kanagawa' by Katsushika Hokusai (1831). If you recognise it, it's probably because it's been described as "possibly the most reproduced image in the history of all art". And it's definitely not AI. Obviously 😜
Get them here or from me when you see me next. My next stop is a week today at @beardedtheoryfestival

Trying out some new direct-to-fabric printing methods today. Basically getting a bit tired of the screen printing being so hit and miss.
Who would fancy one of these I did a run? 🌊

This one is creeping up on us! 🖤🤍❤️
Lots of festivals say they have something for everyone, but this one truly does! Covers and original acts all mixed in together to showcase everything the Black Country can do. It's a great venue too. You should come if you can 🙂

Delighted to share that our celebration of life night @jacobstabletettenhall we will have @samdraisey providing music for us.
I remember him from many years playing locally on Codsall and we @mindbyjb are delighted he has helped us out to provide great music on the night.
Thanks JB #celebration #mentalhealth #tettenhall #codsall
Voting complete ✅
April was a super difficult month for me. I want things to be better.
If I want change, I need to be sure to take steps to make it happen.
Today, I did that by having @samdraisey push me to the polling station so that I could put a cross in a pretty important box.
I would love it if everyone who could vote did vote, but irrespective of that, we can all be the beginning of the change we wish to see.
If we want a kinder world, be a kinder person.
If we want cleaner streets, pop out with a litter picker.
If we want more opportunities for our children, see if there are ways to provide more opportunities for our children.
Here's hoping for better days for us all.
Love and light ✨🎗️💛

@loopfestshropshire last weekend was incredible again. It's a real treat to be a part of something so special, that brings not just so much live music to a town, but also so many people. It proves there is a appetite for live music, and reaffirms my love for it ❤️
I really enjoyed my gig. I'm still getting used to having new songs to play, and trying to learn which ones work best when I'm playing solo. I do feel like this new album really is a band album, and I have to reconsile that with myself in my solo gigs. I'll get there. Let me know if you think there is anything you'd like to hear me tackle on my own.
(Don't say 'a shark'. Funny a response though it may be 🦈)
I also really enjoyed running sound at The Old Post Office all weekend. The acts were incredible, as I'm sure was the case in the other 40 venues across the town. I've said before, I love sound engineering in the capacity I get to mainly because it actively contributes to grassroots original music. I'd make more money sticking microphones in front of CEOs and after dinner speakers, but that's not what I do it for.
However, I'll need to make a bit of money as I blew my desk up partway through @cowerhounds set. They were brilliant, and I was mostly disappointed they had to switch to an instrumental version for their last song. Managed to find a workaround and got through the weekend, so now a repair is due. I think it's a capacitor on the power supply, if anyone's interested. I've had it apart today to look but it's a bit intimidating for me to fix, though I think I know the culprit, I'll tag in more expert hands when I can.
Whether you're a musician or music fan (or technician), I seriously recommend checking out Loopfest next year. It's really great. Everyone involved should be very proud.

Here we go @loopfestshropshire
Yesterday was a crazy day. Three bands in my desk blew up. I've always said that, as an engineer, my best skill is troubleshooting and being calm in a crisis. And it was a crisis. But I found a workaround.
All set up and ready for the day today. See you at 2. 🙂
@loopfestshropshire is awesome. Lugging all your gear from the car park in a wagon uphill is not 🥵
Very uphill 🏞️
Two trips.
At least I'll be quicker taking it home tomorrow 💨
