Life has taken a baseball bat to our balls recently, so we've never been more ready for this announcement.
This is what we do. It's what we're best at. And now with the might of our latest album in our arsenal, our live set is going to be a Godzilla level of powerful.

We are PET NEEDS and we are playing on The Meadow stage at 2pm on Saturday.
We've toured the UK, Europe and USA loads supporting bands like The Hives, Frank Turner, Flogging Molly, Lottery Winners, Busted, Bouncing Souls, Buzzcocks and more.
We have 4 albums, two that hit the top 20 and a previous two that didn't even tickle the top 100 but are also dead good.

Bearded Theory is the only major festival we're playing this year as I've just had a kid, so I am spending my time singing songs to a newborn on 2 hours sleep, but when we got the call we couldn't say no to our favourite UK fest.
Can you do us a favour? Please ram that tent for us. Usually we have a whole summer to spread our bets on good festival shows - Beautiful Days, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, Kendal Calling etc. This year we're placing everything on that 30 minutes in Derbyshire one week today.
We can't wait. We'd like to think it'll be a festival highlight. It's a big tent to fill at 6000 people.

As it stands, Reform have just tipped over to 200 seats. Labour is second with 65, losing 145 already.

I'm proud to have met my heroes. Two people who I don't just love for their music, but also for dedicating a huge part of their lives to making society a fairer and more accepting place. And by being in their presence, I got to witness their kindness towards other humans first hand.
The world is terrifying right now, but we can still build. We have to believe that. Choose good heroes and mentors. Hold on to what matters and act on what you believe.
Hello from deep in our dichotomous reality.
The spreadsheet just dropped and it's outperformed any first week we've ever had.
Maybe the key to all this was going away for a bit?
Or releasing a huge new album?
Maybe by taking a step back we removed the pressure to exponentially grow, then people piled in anyway?
And maybe, despite their algorithm trying its best to squash the little people, actually proper human connection will prevail.
Whatever it is, it's a sign that through luck or design, something is happening.
Keep pushing. Ram them. From day one this has felt like a movement, but now it feels more powerful than ever.

Another day battling the algorithm as the unofficial Head of Digital Marketing for a DIY punk band. Cool, right?
Strap in! Here comes a perfectly pitched arrangement of words on a platform owned by billionaires.
"Band announce tour" isn’t algorithm-friendly, so I won’t say that.
"Tickets on sale everywhere now", although true, will stop people seeing this because Instagram hates connecting bands with fans unless we pay.
Buying early fills promoters with confidence and makes us feel amazing - but now I’ve said “buying,” I’m shouting into a black hole.
As no one will see this, here’s what I really think.
I’m done with industry practices that turn creatives into content creators and bleed us dry. Done being told streams equal popularity - ours tripled for a month on a playlist and did nothing for ticket sales. Done wondering if we should pay for people to see what we make.
But the moments in those rooms make it worth it.
I value realness. That’s what you’ll get at a show. A decade building an accepting community, not too cool to be sincere.
Also, we’re one of the best live bands out there.
It’s a presence I feel nowhere else. Proper connection. A last grasp at something genuine - sharing visceral moments with real people.
We’re not in vogue, yet we sell out proper rooms. 600 in London. 400 in Bristol.
Against everything, we keep growing. We’ve built our own scene. A few weeks ago, because of our audience, we were the most purchased record in independent stores nationwide.
I’ve got a number one trophy in my house.
This is a movement. Something genuine. Grab those tickets today and give us the dopamine hit of numbers climbing on a spreadsheet.
Go in two-footed before the robots take over. Get in those rooms. I want sweat dripping from ceilings. I want to look into people's eyes more often than I read snarky comments on a light up box that for some reason I carry on my person at all times.
