A few process/installation pictures of the "Blueprints"-expo that followed the year-long analog printing course I gave for @breedbeeldvzw at @fotoatelierdezilverbeek . We focused on learning the actual techniques, but also finding the right material, process, size for each negative. Especially the search for the right synergy between image and print. Finding a good match between these two is pure magic. Had a great time working with these photographers, and learning so much myself in every possible way. Workshop day with the Blueprints group @breedbeeldvzw We went deep into the printing process with organic materials: how to move beyond “testing” and start building a technique that supports your project (instead of distracting from it). I’m grateful for the energy in that room — curious, critical, and seriously committed. More of this please! A special thanks to @fotoatelierdezilverbeek for hosting the location.
