There's very few places that have struck me with the same awe as the Canadian Rockies and it's dramatic peaks.
We had driven past this mountain range earlier in the day and I honestly couldn't keep my eyes off it. The low tree line met by sheer rock faces that turn into the jagged peaks that cut into the sky like a knife were mesmerizing. When we made our way to this hill it felt natural to l break out the long board.
I will never forget the rush and overwhelming free feeling I had in this moment. This is what pure bliss looks like to me.

When in Washington, it was impossible to pass up the chance to experience the rainforest in full force. Rain drops pelted the ground and lush green canopy overhead like gravel hitting pavement. The incessant roar of the rain clamoring down around us became increasingly peaceful as we stomped through puddles along the trail.
Once we reached the falls there was a short window of opportunity to capture it's magnificence without exposing my camera to the elements for too long, so there was no time for tripods. (if only the Canon 6D was waterproof😅). I bounded over the slick rocks, scouring the scene for the right angle, popping my camera out from underneath my rain coat to snap a few photos at a time with little time to review them. Once I found the perfect spot, I signaled @nickuthe to scurry over the the bridge in his flip flops. Not many of my shots turned out clearly from that day, except for this 3-shot vertical panoramic shot that fell right into place.
