Not a huge amount of reno updates for April, but this felt very good to get started on. The beginning of the video is from when I first viewed the house. That cupboard took up way too much space in the room. Now I can start the spare room from scratch!
Because I’m just enjoying making reels now. Here is a living room update, including a glimpse of my very serious painting-face. Genuinely almost cried when these cabinets were installed. I love them.
Feb reno updatez! I can recommend demolishing decking as a good workout, but you do have to contend with more spiders and snails than you do at the gym. 🕷️🐌
Some delightful January reno content. Having to pause on more renovations for a wee while because a) it’s exhausting and b) turns out it’s also expensive? Who knew.
We were delighted to host our first Creative Community Wellbeing Breakfast this week on Wednesday morning at @sohohouse
Over coffee, pastries, and a relaxed panel chat, we brought together agencies, casting directors and theatres companies to explore how organisations can proactively support their teams in 2026.
•
With thanks to our wonderful panellists Karl Liegis from @60fortyfilms and Sara Swinney, along with @sam_joly_ for steering conversations during the panel around the impact of support services on morale, retention and company culture. Our @solasmind Founder, Sarah McCaffrey, also spoke in depth about the current mental health trends and detailed various insights from counselling and coaching sessions across the creative sector. Thanks to everyone who came along and we look forward to our next creative community event in the Spring.

Too exhausted by this year to do a 2025 round up, or even a December round up. So here are some photos of the cats from this month (including my fav new hobby - watching the Ring camera recordings). 💖🐈
First DIY reno project in the new house! Look, was it advisable to do external painting at the end of November? No. But was it easy? Also no. But was it worth it? Absolutely. It was something I could do that immediately made the place feel like ‘mine’ and I really love it!
